eScience logo Since May I’m working on a project being part of the eScience Network, a network for clustering acitivities in Saxony which aims at enhancing science with electronic means. The goal of our project is to build a visualisation framework for linked data and then instantiate it for the publication domain. While finishing my PhD, I hope to realise some of the theoretical ideas within this project. Bibliographic data is recently becoming more an more available as linked open data. The Semantic Web and Bibliographic Data Timeline

As a by-product of my recherche on the field of linked data and bibliographic data, I created this timeline which will probably be extended in the next weeks (please comment on missing events!). It gives an overview what are the relevant events and also show nicely that a lot of things are happing in this field right now!
